Resource fair for those in need held in Indio Saturday morning

A resource fair to help homeless people and those in need will be held in Indio Saturday morning.

The event will take place at American Legion Post 739 on 44200 Sun Gold Street in Indio from 9 am to 1 pm.

The idea is to help link homeless individuals and families with community resources. Attendees will be provided with medical services, referrals to social service agencies, legal assistance, haircuts, food, and much more.

18 service providers will be there to provide assistance.

– Riverside County Housing Authority & Veteran Services
– Desert Aids Project
– Planned Parenthood of Pacific Southwest
– Indio WIN Center
– Angel View Outreach Program
– Riverside County Social Services, Adult Services
– Office of Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia
– Safe Families for Children of Olive Crest
– SAGE Initiative Dental Care
– Center for Employment Training
– Inland Counties Legal Services, Inc. (ICLS)
– Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine
– La Botica Pharmacy (Diabetes Meters & Information)
– Borrego Health Dental Services
– College of The Desert Student Services
– Riverside County Library System
– Street Life Project
