Cheer on the local heroes and the News Channel 3 team at Palm Desert Field Day

Cheer on your favorite local newscasters and our local heroes from the Police and Fire Departments on Opening Day for local youth sports.

The Palm Desert Youth Sports Association is hosting their Opening Day and PD Safety Expo on Saturday, March 9, from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Civic Center Park.

The day will be full of sports, fun, and food for all ages. A highlight of the day will be the national anthem with a military fly-over.

At 11:00 a.m., watch the News Channel 3 crew, local police and fire heroes, and other local television newscasters during an expo game called “Battle of the Broadcasters.”
