Deputies seek El Paseo jewelry store burglar

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies are seeking a suspect wanted for an early morning burglary on at a jewelry store on El Paseo in Palm Desert

The crime, which was reported just before 12:45 a.m. Monday, took place at the Fine Jewelry Bar on the 73200 block of El Paseo, according to Deputy Mike Vasquez, public information officer for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect reportedly broke into the business through a window on the side.

According to an employee, the suspect didn’t take much from the store. The employee also said that the store is insured for the stolen property.

The suspect remains at large.
