Woman hospitalized following house fire in Coachella

Fire crews are battling a blaze at a single-family home in Coachella.

The blaze was reported at 3:46 p.m. 20 firefighters and one engine are on scene.

The home is on the 85600 block of Via Misionero in Coachella. Smoke was visible from the side and back of the home. The fire was contained at 4:12 p.m.

According to Cal Fire, an adult female was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The red cross is going to assist 4 adults and 1 child, according to Cal Fire.
