Police looking for suspects in Coachella

Authorities are searching for four suspects following a pursuit in Coachella.

According to the Indio Police Department, an officer came across a suspicious vehicle and tried to stop the car at Avenue 48 and Antilles Avenue in Indio. Police have not disclosed why the vehicle was considered suspicious.

Police say the vehicle didn’t yield and a vehicle pursuit ensued that ended when the suspect crashed into a parked vehicle in the area of Agua Blanca in Camino Real. Four suspects then fled from the vehicle.

Police confirmed they later found guns in the car. No injuries have been reported.
