Rep Raul Ruiz aids passenger on plane yet again

For at least the fourth time since he was elected in 2012, local congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz used his medical expertise to help a passenger in need.

According to Politico, Ruiz provided medical assistance to an ailing passenger while on his flight from Dallas to Palm Springs Thursday evening. We are working on finding out what the medical issue was as well as the condition of the passenger.

Before his election in 2012, Coachella-native Ruiz was an emergency room physician, earning his medical degree from Harvard University.

Again, this is far from the first time he provided aid to a passenger on his flight.

In 2013 , Ruiz helped stabilize a passenger who had collapsed during a flight from Washington D.C. to Fort Worth, Texas. In 2014 , the Congressman rendered aid to a conservative columnist who had a seizure during a flight between Washington D.C. and Palm Springs. In 2017 , Ruiz assisted a passenger who was bleeding badly from a deep cut to his finger while waiting for takeoff in Phoenix.
