Family of missing local woman speaks out ahead of memorial
Rebecca Modrall was last seen on February 5, 2019. In the 11 months since she was last seen, her family has grown frustrated with the investigation, and they have recently put out a video online expressing these feelings.
"I know someone knows something, I know someone knows what happened and I would appreciate if you would come forward," Rebecca Modrall's mother says in the YouTube video, published on January 5.
Modrall's body was never found, but the Riverside County Sheriff's Department is investigating the case as a homicide.

"They've been given tips, we don't know if they've followed up... we don't know if they've searched all the locations that have been suggested," said Amber, a cousin of Rebecca's.
Modrall had told family members that, on the day she disappeared, she was heading to the La Quinta home of her longtime boyfriend, Joe Coker III. Weeks later, Coker was found dead at his property in Lake Arrowhead of an apparent suicide, but a death certificate listed his cause of death as "pending".
