11 patients assessed after a five-vehicle crash in Rancho Mirage

First responders assessed 11 patients following a five-vehicle crash in Rancho Mirage Tuesday evening.

According to Cal Fire, the crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 111 and Country Club at approximately 4:56 p.m.

Two people suffered moderate injuries, one sustained minor injuries, 5 were assessed and found to have suffered no injuries. Three people refused treatment.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department confirmed no one has been taken into custody in relation to the crash.
