Deputies investigating shooting near Desert Hot Springs

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting in a community in unincorporated Desert Hot Springs.

Deputies received reports of shots fired at approximately 7:46 p.m. in the area of 20th Avenue and Paintbrush Trail.

Deputy Robyn Flores, RSO's public information officer, told News Channel 3 that deputies did find evidence of a shooting in the area. Deputies have not located any victims or suspects at this time.

No roads have been closed for the investigation. Stay with News Channel 3 for any updates.
