Riverside County coronavirus cases grow to 1,961
Riverside County health officials announced 210 new coronavirus cases, no additional deaths, and 79 more patients recovered.

The current number of cases is now at 1,961 while the total number of recoveries now sits at 376.
The total number of deaths remains at 50. The county now has a breakdown of deaths by race/ethnicity, age, and gender.
The number of patients who have recovered is now at 376.
According to county health officials, more than 18,000 patients have been tested at the three county locations. This figure does not include the many other tests coordinated by private physicians and labs.
Riverside County opened its fouth testing site in Perris today. The other three are located in Indio, Riverside, and Lake Elsinore.
Those who want to be tested can call 800-945-6171 and specify which location is preferable.
Riverside has the most cases in the county with 307 (total was 266 on Monday), followed by Moreno Valley with 192. Riverside also tied Palm Springs with the most deaths in the county (Both are at 8 deaths). Indio continues to have most cases in the Coachella Valley.

In order to "flatten the curve" of coronavirus, Riverside County public health officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser ordered everyone to wear a face-covering when leaving home, including essential workers.
Face coverings can be bandanas, scarves, neck gaiters or other clothing that does not have visible holes.
This order runs through April 30.
