Moderate quake centered near Salton Sea
The USGS reports a 4.5 Magnitude earthquake shook an area near the Southwest portion of the Salton Sea Sunday afternoon.
According to USGS, the quake was centered 10.5 miles Southeast of Ocotillo Wells at 3:07 p.m. at a depth of 6.2 miles.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. We have received a few calls into the newsroom from viewers who reported feeling the shaker.
