Riverside County reopening & coronavirus reopening news conference
Riverside County officials announced that the state approved the county's move in accelerated stage 2 reopening, meaning malls and dine-in restaurants will be allowed to operate with modifications.

Officials expected to speak today include:
- Riverside County Chair of the Board of Supervisor V. Manuel Perez, Fourth District Supervisor
- Vice Chair Karen Spiegel, Second District Supervisor
- Dr. Geoffrey Leung, Riverside University Health System
- Juan Perez, Assistant CEO, Riverside County Executive Office
As of May 21, there are 6,343 positive cases, 4,016 recoveries, and 284 deaths across Riverside County. There have been over 1,200 confirmed cases in the Coachella Valley.
