10 residences sheltering in place after gas line rupture in Mecca

Approximately 10 residences are sheltering in place after an exterior gas line rupture in Mecca.

The rupture happened at around 2:00 p.m. on the 91000 block of Painted Canyon Court.

Cal Fire officials said the residents are sheltering in place while SoCalGas crews make repairs.

No injuries have been reported.
