Man reported missing since July 30 in the Morongo Basin area

Authorities confirmed a link in Fitzpatrick's case and the Chinese tourist case. Fitzpatrick was hired as her tour guide.

Authorities are calling for the public's help in locating a man missing since July 30 in the Morongo Basin area.
John Fitzpatrick, 52, was reported missing on July 30 by a friend, according to Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station.
Fitzpatrick was last known to be driving a blue Toyota Tacoma with a California license plate 24478S1.
He is described as:
- 5 feet, 8 inches tall
- 185 pounds
- Black hair
- Hazel eyes

This is the second person reported missing out of the Morongo Basin area.
Fang Jin, a Chinese tourist, has been missing in the area in since July 22.
