7 hurt in crash involving a Sunline bus on Vista Chino in Palm Springs

A portion of E Vista Chino was temporarily closed in Palm Springs after a crash involving a Sunline bus.

The crash happened at E Vista Chino near Via Roberto Miguel at around 3:20 p.m.

Video from our News Channel 3 crew at the scene shows what appears to be three vehicles involved and a Sunline Bus.

It appears that one vehicle is stacked on top of another one of the vehicles.

The Palm Springs Fire Department told News Channel 3 at the scene that there were seven patients. Three of those people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The remaining four patients were treated at the scene.

News Channel 3 crew confirmed at the scene that the eastbound side of Vista Chino is shut down. One lane on the Westbound side is closed as well. The roadway was reopened by 5:00 p.m.
