One person seriously injured after travel trailer catches on fire in Mecca
A person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a travel trailer caught on fire Monday afternoon in Mecca.
The fire was first reported at around 2:00 p.m. on the 91300 block of 2nd Street.
According to CAL FIRE, firefighters arrived at the scene and saw a fully involved travel trailer with exposure to a structure. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the travel trailer at approximately 2:19 p.m.
The agency noted that firefighters will remain on-scene for an additional two hours for overhaul.
