Xavier College Preparatory High School announces new principal

Change is in store for Xavier College Preparatory High School

The high school has announced their new principal, Jeff Howard is set to begin work next month.

School officials say he comes from Denver, Colorado where he served as principal at a Christian high school there.

He also has previously worked in other roles teaching English and serving as an assistant principal.

When he arrives in the desert, Howard will be joined by his wife Caroline, who is a high school teacher.

In a statement, Xavier President, Mark Campbell said, "Jeff brings a wealth of experience in Catholic education and has a genuine passion for accompanying teachers, staff, students, and their families”.

Howard is set to begin his new role March 11th.
