Three people injured after crash in La Quinta

Three people were hospitalized after a crash Thursday morning in La Quinta.

The two-vehicle crash was reported at around 7:25 a.m. near the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Monroe Street.

CAL FIRE told News Channel 3 that two patients sustained moderate injuries, while one person suffered major injuries.

There were no details on the circumstances that led to the crash. The Riverside County Sheriff's Office is investigating the collision.
