Local dive bar asks for support during owner’s medical leave

PALM DESERT, Calif. (KESQ) - The Hood Bar and Pizza, a beloved Coachella Valley dive bar known for nearly nine years of Drag Queen Bingo, is asking the community for support during a difficult time.

Brad Guth, owner, has been dealing with serious foot and knee issues since last fall, undergoing months of treatment. As a result, he has been unable to keep up with the daily demands of running the bar and has stepped back to focus on his health.

A GoFundMe has been launched on behalf of the Hood Bar and Pizza to help keep the bar running while Guth addresses his medical needs.
