8 patients hospitalized after head-on crash in Mecca
MECCA, Calif. (KESQ) - 8 people were taken to the hospital after a head-on collision in Mecca Wednesday afternoon.
The crash was reported just after 3:30 p.m. on 66th Avenue and Buchanan Street.
Details on the crash remain limited. CAL FIRE confirmed the patients are being treated and transported by both air and ground ambulances to area hospitals for further treatment and evaluation.
66th Avenue was briefly closed, but was back open by 5 p.m.
