The average daily high temperature for Palm Springs during August, 2023 was 107.3°F. This is a fairly normal value when compared to the previous 11 years. However, we can see that the average high temperature for August has not been below 107° since 2014.

On average, Palm Springs receives 0.14 inches of rain during the month of August. August 2023, however, got over 20x more water than average. In total, Palm Springs received 3.23 inches of rain in August, 2023. This, of course, is because of Tropical Storm Hilary which dropped more than three inches of rain onto most of our valley cities.
