Truck hauling 15,000 pounds of mangoes crashes on I-10

Crews had a big mess to clean up after a tractor trailer hauling 15,000 pounds of mangoes crashed on I-10 Sunday morning.

The crash was reported before 5:00 a.m. on I-10 just east of Frontage Road.

An official with the California Highway Patrol said the driver fell asleep and went into the center median.

The driver reportedly hit a guard rail and overturned.

CHP said the driver had minor to moderate injuries.
