Deputies reportedly locate drugs during search warrant, man arrested

A man was arrested after deputies from the Morongo Basin's Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant in Joshua Tree.

The search was reported around 11:00 a.m. Thursday at a home off Valley View Street, near Hilltop Drive.

Deputies reportedly located currency in various denominations, along with methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other drug paraphernalia.

After the search, deputies said they arrested a convicted felon, who was accused of an extensive criminal history for possession of narcotics.
