Goodbye, triple digits!

Today was the seventh triple-digit day in a row, with the high temperature in Palm Springs reaching 104°. That's a degree cooler than yesterday. The cool down has begun... slowly.

Areas of gusty winds are expected through the start of the week. Stronger winds are expected in the afternoon and evening hours Sunday and Monday. The winds are expected to weaken a bit during the daytime hours.

Gusts through more wind-prone locations exceeding 50 mph, with gusts on the valley floor up to almost 40 mph in some areas. Breezy conditions are expected to stick around into Tuesday.

It's finally starting to feel like May, with temperatures in the 90s, even dipping below seasonal average some days this week. So say goodbye to the triple digits... for now!
