Breezy and cool today with a warmer weekend ahead

An area of low pressure is bringing gusty winds and spotty showers around the region.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect for areas surrounding the Coachella Valley until 6 p.m. today. And a Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect above 6,000 feet for the potential of snow.

Highs will be running in the mid 70s but a warming trend starts tomorrow.

We see temperatures return to near normal conditions by Sunday.
