Gusty winds loom in the weekend forecast

Today will be breezy and mild, but stronger winds are on the way. A deep area of low pressure arrives over the weekend and will enhance winds. There is even a small chance of showers late Saturday as the storm moves through.

Expect breezy conditions this evening, but the stronger winds develop tomorrow night.

The Jetstream is moving farther south, which will increase winds and also drop temperatures substantially as well.

Because of the intense winds and potential for reduced visibility, lowered air quality and road closures, the First Alert Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Alert from Friday evening at 4 p.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday morning. The gustiest time frame will be Saturday night.
