Warmer temps round out the week

Highs are on the uptick as we finish the week and start the weekend. Despite adding a couple of degrees, it promises to be a beautiful day, and a great evening for Palm Springs' VillageFest tonight.

Because of the fire burning near Temecula, an Air Quality Watch is in place for this morning. Smoke from the Highland fire is impacting air quality throughout the Inland Empire.

High pressure will continue it's grip on the Western U.S. keeping skies clear and condition warm all weekend long.

Highs will be running about 5 degrees above our seasonal average through the week, returning to normal by early next week.
