Warm & pleasant weekend awaits

Highs have been climbing about a degree per day this week, and that trend continues into the weekend.

High pressure will keep us sunny and warm through the weekend before we return to normal conditions early next week.

That dome of high pressure is also trapping smoke from area wildfires closer to the surface, so there is an Air Quality Watch in place through 5 p.m. for areas west of the Coachella Valley.

A trough moves through NorCal on Monday which will mean breezy conditions and highs falling back into the 80s. Don't forget to set those clocks BACK an hour Saturday night as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end.
