Modest warming into the weekend

Highs today will span the upper 70s, close 80 for a beautiful Friday!

The high pressure ridge has moved far enough East that we are not seeing those strong Santa Ana Winds of yesterday, so calm and mild conditions prevail.

The weekend will be "Chamber of Commerce" weather, but by the middle of next week a Pacific Storm drops in from the Gulf of Alaska. That brings the chance of rain across Coastal areas, showers here in the Valley, and some snow at the higher mountain elevations in Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties. Biggest impact of that storm will likely be Thursday and Friday.
