Warming, with strong offshore winds

Highs begin a nice warming trend today that will take us close to the 80 degree mark by Sunday, and keep us warmer than average most of next week.

Strong offshore winds will develop in the canyons and passes West of the Coachella Valley, so high profile vehicles like RVs and semi-trucks should travel with caution.

This is all the result of a strong high pressure ridge building in across the region that will stay with us through much of next week.

High temps today will span the lower 70s.

We'll be closer to 80s for daytime highs Sunday - Tuesday, with some wet weather forecast to arrive just in time for the beginning of February.
