“Last Gasp” showers linger this morning, clearing this afternoon

The powerful storm that pounded coastal and inland areas of SoCal is now slowly leaving the region as the center of low pressure pulls Northeastward.

A Flood Watch remains in place until 10 this morning, along with a Winter Weather Advisory in the mountains as snow showers linger, too.

The snowfall will be slower to leave the region as moisture will remain in place over the mountains a bit longer than it will over our Valley skies.

For the remainder of the week, highs will gradually climb to the middle 70s with partly cloudy skies through the weekend. Another chance of showers enters the picture Monday of next week.
