Above average highs to end the week

Highs today, like yesterday, will climb into the upper 70s, some three degrees above average.

Much of the nation will see highs well above seasonal averages through Friday.

Low pressure is tracking South across the Baja Peninsula, but that cloud cover and shower activity will be well South of us.

The weekend brings significant changes, with breezy to gusty winds and highs dropping to nearly 10 degrees below our norms. We start to recover by the middle of next week.
