Warm & Dry Through Thanksgiving

Warm, dry, and breezy through Thanksgiving as offshore flow and some weak Santa Ana winds bring in some drier air and keep temperatures running 5-10 degrees above normal.

Santa Ana winds won't be a big factor locally, although if you're traveling today--and many are--we're looking at some gusty east winds 25–30 mph will continue through mountain passes tonight into Wednesday, helping to drop humidity into the low teens across the region. Keep in mind humidity was in the 70s yesterday.

Temperatures peak Wednesday and Thanksgiving with highs climbing into the low 80s and mostly sunny skies.

We'll start to see a shift in the pattern late week, decreasing our winds and bring increasing clouds, beginning a nice little cooldown starting Saturday.

Sunday and Monday will be noticeably cooler, low 70s, even some 60s, with a slight chance of showers thanks to a passing weather system Sunday. We could even see a few snowflakes above 5,500–6,000'.

Looking more long range, we'll see another round of dry offshore winds and a warming trend into the middle of next week.
