Calm, Mild Weather to End November, Coachella Valley Cooling Into Next Week

A calm and quiet pattern on deck for the Coachella Valley this weekend into early next week. Temperatures drop slightly Saturday and Sunday into the upper 70s, a tad cooler next week before finally dropping below seasonal normal into the upper 60s by this next Thursday.

I'm watching another opportunity for weak offshore winds to develop Saturday, then again on Monday, but they will remain light and don't appear to have a big impact on conditions across the desert and in the mountain passes.

We could see our next potential weather-maker as early as next mid next week, but currently models are showing low confidence… as of now there's a pretty even chance we could see very light showers or even no rain at all. Even if we do start trending wetter, accumulation would be pretty minimal.

Overall, we end November on a warm and above average note with dropping temps to kick off December and then below average by late next week. Enjoy our mostly calm and mild week ahead.
