Comfortable & Breezy Late Week

Another gorgeous and cooler than normal day across the Coachella Valley, with highs continuing to hover near or below the century mark.

A strong area of low pressure over Northern California continues to keep our temperatures in check in the southern part of the state, but is also producing some breezy west winds this afternoon and evening—mainly near the passes and desert slopes.

That low gradually moves east into the weekend, allowing temperatures to climb a few degrees, close to seasonal Saturday and Sunday. Another weak trough swings through SoCal early next week, briefly knocking temperatures back down a few degrees Monday and Tuesday.

From there, high pressure looks to strengthen again, kicking off another warming trend by the middle of next week. Basically we're going to ebb and flow just a few degrees every two or three days.
