Excessive Heat Warning issued

An Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect from 11 a.m. Sunday until 11 p.m. Tuesday as highs climb to near 110.

Highs topped out at 100 yesterday for the first time in nearly 2 weeks and today we'll be above that number.

A ridge of high pressure will dominate the forecast through the weekend and into next week.

That will keep skies clear, winds light, and highs above average through most of the week. Stay hydrated and be safe in the warmer-than-normal conditions.
