Thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall formed earlier this afternoon and moved through the Coachella Valley. There remains a chance for storms throughout the afternoon and into the evening hours.

Temperatures for the next week will be well below the seasonal average. A chance for some isolated storms remains for Saturday, and windy conditions will be felt through Sunday night. Temperatures will be very mild and comfortable this Labor Day weekend. A slight warming trend begins Tuesday, with below-average temperatures through Thursday.
