A cloudy goodbye to summer

It is a cool and mild start to the morning here in the Coachella Valley. Temperatures are starting off in the mid to upper sixties and low seventies.

Clouds will fill the valley throughout the morning. As a result of the extra moisture in the atmosphere, some stray showers in the mountains and drizzles here on the valley floor are possible. The clouds will dissipate throughout the day on Saturday.

Temperatures today will remain below average. After starting off in the mid-sixties, temperatures will peak in the low nineties.

Looking ahead to the next week, we will see temperatures rise and stabilize in the mid to upper nineties. As well, the autumnal equinox will occur at 11:50PM tonight, ushering the fall season.
