Above average temperatures through the weekend

Temperatures over the next few days in Southern California will be warm and above average. Highs will peak between 90° and 100°. There is a heat advisory to our west through 7PM Friday.

Broad high pressure has taken hold over the western United States. This is leading to temperatures at least 5° above average through this weekend for the Coachella Valley.

Wind gusts will be fairly weak for the remainder of the week. Although, gusts will strengthen through the San Gorgonio pass.

Temperatures will be well above average at least through the weekend, and likely into next early week as well. Highs will remain in the 90s for next week.
