Fair weather continues into the weekend

We are in the middle of a warming trend, meaning high temperatures will rise slightly with each day. High temperatures today are in the mid-70s with a low temperature in the mid to low 50s.

High pressure is dominating over Southern California. This is leading to dry air and the aforementioned warming trend. This is also leading to mostly clear skies for the time being. However, a low-pressure system well into the Pacific may lead to some upper-level clouds at times.

Temperatures continue to warm into the weekend, with high temperatures nearing 80°. Temperatures will fall as we start next week thanks to a system that will impact the state. There is a slight chance for showers on Monday, but the focus will be more on the wind.
