Warm weather to close the week, minor cooling this weekend

Good morning and happy Friday. Today will be the warmest day of the workweek as highs climb to the mid 90s across the valley. Skies remain clear with dry conditions and calm winds. Overall, it is warm and comfortable. We do remain above the seasonal average of 88°F, however.

As the area of low pressure continues moving east, high pressure is moving in. This is giving us the warm weather we have today. Temperatures will cool slightly this weekend, but will stay on the warmer side. This is because of an area of low pressure impacting the Pacific Northwest. This system may bring some elevated breezes to the valley floor Saturday afternoon/evening. Sunday will continue to see some minor cooling as highs hover around 90°F.

We have had a great October here in the Coachella Valley. Temperatures will stay on the warmer side and above average for all of next week. We aren't tracking any major concerns other than the slightly above average weather.
