Two Minor Quakes Rock Southern California

A magnitude 3.6 quake centered four miles south-southwest of Coronado struck San Diego County on Tuesday at 8:52 p.m., followed by a 4.3 quake five minutes later. The second quake was centered 34 miles west-southwest of Rosarito in Baja California, Mexico. Viewers from from Nestor, Eastlake, San Ysidro and downtown San Diego reported feeling shaking.

Pedestrian Dies In Late-Night Hit-And-Run

A 68-year-old man died early today from injuries he suffered when he was struck by a Camaro-like vehicle in a hit-and-run in Coachella. Ronald Viduya of Coachella was declared dead at 12:21 a.m. at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
