Crews contain brush fire in Beaumont

CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters have contained a brush fire in Beaumont that sparked Saturday afternoon.

The Hills Fire is burning near Lambs Canyon and Dump Road.

The fire now stands at 168 acres.

It broke out around 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Crews contained the fire just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

There was no indication any structures were threatened.
