Dry and clear for first full day of fall

Dry air from the west continues to blanket California, making for clearer skies and mild conditions. Temperatures in the 90s have been seasonably warm.

Winds remain breezy as we make it into the late afternoon and evening. 10-15 mph sustained winds keep conditions mild but continue to toss sand and dust into the atmosphere, reducing air quality and limiting visibility on the roads.

Looking ahead, we gradual warm up through the middle of the week. Winds continue to pick up each afternoon and evening. Temperatures continue sink to the lower end of the 90s by this time next week. Overnight lows range from the 60s to 70s.
