A warming trend for the start of November

It is noticeably warmer today than it was at the same time yesterday. Temperatures today are right around where they should be for this time of year. However, a warming trend is in place for the rest of the week.

High pressure has become dominant over the desert southwest. This is the reason for the warming trend we are experiencing. The high pressure will move around, but not move away, leaving us with above-average temperatures.

Temperatures continue to warm through the end of the work week. Temperatures this weekend will peak in the low 90s. Temperatures will stay above average through at least Monday, before starting to dip on Tuesday.
