Crews battle small brush fire in Banning

There was no word on what sparked a 2.5-acre brush fire in Banning over the weekend.

It was reported Sunday after 5:00 p.m. in the area of W. Westward and Sunset Avenues.

Cal Fire investigators said the blaze was contained around 6:15 p.m.

There were no injuries reported.
