Elderly woman found dead inside hot tub
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a drowning that happened early Sunday morning in Rancho Mirage.
Cal Fire, Riverside County firefighters responded to reports of a drowning around 8:50 a.m. in the 20 block of Cresta Verde. Fire officials said firefighters located an elderly woman inside a hot tub. The victim dead at the scene.
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies said the investigation is a unattended death.
