Vehicle stolen from casino, suspects held at gunpoint by deputies
A vehicle was reported stolen from the Spotlight 29 Casino around 2 p.m. Sunday, according to Deputy Robyn Flores with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Flores said investigators believed the victim knew the suspects, and the victim called and provided a location the suspects may have been headed to. Authorities responded to the location in t he 46200 block of Calhoun Street in Indio where they located the vehicle with two individuals inside.
Multiple police vehicles were observed near the Arabian Mobile Home park. The suspects were held at gun point by deputies, but no shots were fired. Multiple people were detained, but only one person was arrested, Flores said.
