I-10 in Banning reopens after helicopter closing

Interstate 10 eastbound is shutting down in Banning so that a helicopter can land near the scene of a rollover traffic collision.

The crash was reported at 12:12 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Ford SUV reportedly traveled off the righthand shoulder of the highway near the railroad tracks located by Sunset Avenue.
