Palm Springs fire crews save photo album from blaze

Palm Springs Fire Department crews were battling a blaze that broke out in a mobile home in South Palm Springs Wednesday morning.

Shortly after the fire burned, the Palm Springs Police Department posted on Instagram that PSFD firefighters were able to save some ‘memories’ from the fire; a photo album.

The fire broke out in a home located on the 700 block of Scenic View Drive in Palm Springs. The mobile home is located within the Parkview Mobile Home Park.

The fire was reported at around 11:15 a.m. As of 12:15 p.m. the fire appeared to be out and crews remained on scene for mop-up.

PSPD is advising the public to avoid the area unless you’re a resident of the park. Officers responded to the scene to assist with evacuations and crowd control.
